NOT YOUR AVERAGE CLOTHING LINE.

WHY

Like millions of people in this country and around the world, abuse has touched the lives of many of us at Evolve Awareness Apparel.  That’s why we strive to raise awareness for those that are suffering or have suffered abuse of any kind, whether it be domestic violence, cyber-bullying, or human trafficking. It's simple - any form of abuse is wrong! It's our mission to make sure that we can become a lighthouse to those in dark times & a voice to those who are too frightened to speak for themselves.  Evolve Awareness Apparel is making a positive impact one person at a time.

DOMESTIC ABUSE

Domestic violence can happen to anyone of any race, age, sexual orientation, religion or gender. It can happen to couples who are married, living together or who are dating.  Domestic violence affects people of all socioeconomic backgrounds and education levels.Abuse is a repetitive pattern of behaviors to maintain power and control over an intimate partner. These are behaviors that physically harm, arouse fear, prevent a partner from doing what they wish or force them to behave in ways they do not want. Abuse includes the use of physical and sexual violence, threats and intimidation, emotional abuse and economic deprivation. Many of these different forms of abuse can be going on at any one time.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Human trafficking occurs when a trafficker takes any one of the enumeratedactions, and then employs the means of force, fraud or coercion for the purpose of compelling the victim to provide commercial sex acts or labor or services. At a minimum, one element from each column must be present to establish a potential situation of human trafficking. Situations of minors engaging in commercial sex are human trafficking, despite the presence of force, fraud or coercion. The presence of force, fraud or coercion indicates that the victim has not consented of his or her own free will.
